Treating Yourself As Someone You Love ❤️

Following on from my “Self love ” post last week – and all the mixed bag comments with it 🙄🙊

I was kindly contributed the following post all about how to love yourself like you would anyone else in your life. Have a read and let me know what you gals think.

Treating yourself as someone you love is nice to think about but much harder to do in practice. Not only are we intrinsically self-critical on a daily basis to try and improve and operate in the world with progression, but we, unfortunately, keep our heads buried in the sand when blindingly life-changing opportunities show themselves. Some people simply prefer failing because it means they are guaranteeing their failure, as opposed to failing because of a hard attempt which can take a while to recover from. For all of these issues though, keeping that loving mentality towards yourself, as if you were a friend who only want the best for yourself, can help you overcome all of the negative self-talk which is easily accumulated.
Luckily, there are ways to do so, and we’d argue the following serve as the best:

Take Care Of Your Appearance

Of course, our blog is dedicated to being fashionably fit, and that purely means feeling and looking your best. It’s important to know how the external way you act can have a really huge impact on your internal thoughts. People often say ‘fake it until you make it,’ which can absolutely work, and should be the first method of approach if you feel like a change is needed.

However, there’s no reason as to why you should need to ‘fake it’ in the first place. It’s likely that you yourself are completely and totally enough as who you are, even if you don’t feel it. A good way to remember this if you’ve forgotten is to apply yourself with the best self-care implements, something which physically shows that you care, overcoming the mental chatter you may have experienced thus far. Using natural products which nourish your skin and give you that vibrant organic glow can be one of the best methods to work within.

Check your local organic shop to find a range of healthcare methods which can stimulate your hair, skin, and clear up rashes. Sometimes, you might find organic ethical makeup brands which can help you feel more interconnected with the world around you while having the added benefit of simply looking amazing. Checking online for a Wide range of Nature Republic mask  products can also help you sooth your skin, especially in the approaching cold weather with awesome aloe vera therapy.

The best way to Treat yourself right is to surround yourself with people who appreciate you and love you for who you are. Too often in life to people worry about what people think of them, especially people who have an influence on their career or activities in free time. As a result, people often stop themselves from living the life they actually want to live in exchange for a life they believe they should live to satisfy their peers. Finding people who love you and are able to accept anything you want to do are the people you need in your life. Notice that these people are never the same as ‘yes men,’ people who accept everything and never tell you to temper your actions when you’re getting out of hand. That is simply egotism, and it doesn’t work well. Your friends should always be happy to tell you when they’re worried about you. Telling the truth is always a good starting point.

Over time, your self care schedule can turn even the least confident person into someone with Self respect. Often, that’s all you need.

Do you gals relate to these points?

I would love to know!

How to be single?

If there was anything I could confidently write about, it would be this.

I recently just re watched the name say film (if you haven’t seen so – do.)

And yes my life is not going out every night and having one night stands in New York City before we go any further… 🙄

But does that mean that’s all being single is?

Single to me is learning life lessons, learning how to be on your own confidently and happily. Being able to fend for yourself, hammer that nail into the wall and hang that self love quote on your wall girl.

I have reached the mature age of  25 without being in a single solid relationship I’ve a skill of picking a select few “headfucks” that have cracked my black heart…. just a little.

Am I embarrassed by that? Maybe sometimes, but am I a lot more proud of myself to say I can do and have done everything for myself the last 25 years? Hell yes.

I have watched some of my beautiful best friends go through the wars with their other halves, give up majority of their time and life with them, cry over them, fight with them, call them everything under the sun so dependent on them they don’t even know how to change a lightbulb material.

But us girls have an extraordinary ability to round the troops and wash them tears away of your best friend when they need you, agree with them that their now ex boyfriend was the worst mistake ever, wack on the “im over it face” and accompany it with a killer outfit.

The jist of this post is really for anyone who is afraid to be “single” because the truth is you will always have the strongest support system around you, and yes the word single is an analogy of the word alone but we need to see that the ability to be happy and alone is one of the strongest powers you can have.

….And if you’re afraid of being single on your own, I’ll always be right beside ya 😉

Speak soon,

Lots love
