Fighting against early ageing signs

When it comes to fighting against the common signs of ageing, the earlier you start to take action, the better. However, that doesn’t mean that it is ever too late to make improvements. Here, we are going to be talking about a few ageing issues which a lot of people worry about, as well as a few ways to fight back against them. Let’s get started.

Sun Damage

As well as causing premature ageing, too much sun exposure can also lead to more serious conditions such as cancer. So, you need to wear sunscreen products which protect against UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays whenever you can. Remember, you can still get sunburned on cloudy days as well. If you notice some skin damage, you can work retinol into your skincare  routine which plays a big role in diminishing the appearance of sunspots.

Fine Lines

A good moisturising routine should be an integral part of your daily life if you are intending to fight back against the appearance of fine lines. You could also try out visiting a cosmetic clinic & aesthetic treatments centre. Another technique that you could try is to change your makeup as the wrong formulas can end up emphasising the appearance of lines. Be careful of powders as these tend to absorb oil and moisture. A cream foundation or tinted moisturiser tend to be the better options.

As you get older, the top layer of your skin starts to become dull and you may lose some of your glow. A relatively easy remedy to this issue is to exfoliate on a regular basis with glycolic acid to improve cell turnover and give your skin a boost. If you are looking for quicker results, you could try heading to your dermatologist for a pro-strength glycolic peel.

Puffy eyes

The area of skin around your eyes is already thin, and this is only set to get thinner as you get older. Two factors which can exacerbate the appearance of Dark circles  or puffiness around your eyes are salt and alcohol, so you should try to reduce your intake of both of these substances. A cold compress and some eye cream are two techniques which you could look to incorporate into your skincare routine. The worst thing that you can do to your eyes is to rub them, so this is a habit you should aim to get out of.

Dry skin is a natural sign of ageing on its own, but it also plays a role in making a lot of the other ones even worse. Moisturiser should become your best friend, and it is the best line of defence in battling an environment which is always trying to dry out your skin. A hydrating mask from time to time can also make all the difference.

So, hopefully these techniques provide you some joy when battling against early ageing signs. Ultimately, these are things that you can incorporate into your daily life to keep your skin looking its best.

Treating Yourself As Someone You Love ❤️

Following on from my “Self love ” post last week – and all the mixed bag comments with it 🙄🙊

I was kindly contributed the following post all about how to love yourself like you would anyone else in your life. Have a read and let me know what you gals think.

Treating yourself as someone you love is nice to think about but much harder to do in practice. Not only are we intrinsically self-critical on a daily basis to try and improve and operate in the world with progression, but we, unfortunately, keep our heads buried in the sand when blindingly life-changing opportunities show themselves. Some people simply prefer failing because it means they are guaranteeing their failure, as opposed to failing because of a hard attempt which can take a while to recover from. For all of these issues though, keeping that loving mentality towards yourself, as if you were a friend who only want the best for yourself, can help you overcome all of the negative self-talk which is easily accumulated.
Luckily, there are ways to do so, and we’d argue the following serve as the best:

Take Care Of Your Appearance

Of course, our blog is dedicated to being fashionably fit, and that purely means feeling and looking your best. It’s important to know how the external way you act can have a really huge impact on your internal thoughts. People often say ‘fake it until you make it,’ which can absolutely work, and should be the first method of approach if you feel like a change is needed.

However, there’s no reason as to why you should need to ‘fake it’ in the first place. It’s likely that you yourself are completely and totally enough as who you are, even if you don’t feel it. A good way to remember this if you’ve forgotten is to apply yourself with the best self-care implements, something which physically shows that you care, overcoming the mental chatter you may have experienced thus far. Using natural products which nourish your skin and give you that vibrant organic glow can be one of the best methods to work within.

Check your local organic shop to find a range of healthcare methods which can stimulate your hair, skin, and clear up rashes. Sometimes, you might find organic ethical makeup brands which can help you feel more interconnected with the world around you while having the added benefit of simply looking amazing. Checking online for a Wide range of Nature Republic mask  products can also help you sooth your skin, especially in the approaching cold weather with awesome aloe vera therapy.

The best way to Treat yourself right is to surround yourself with people who appreciate you and love you for who you are. Too often in life to people worry about what people think of them, especially people who have an influence on their career or activities in free time. As a result, people often stop themselves from living the life they actually want to live in exchange for a life they believe they should live to satisfy their peers. Finding people who love you and are able to accept anything you want to do are the people you need in your life. Notice that these people are never the same as ‘yes men,’ people who accept everything and never tell you to temper your actions when you’re getting out of hand. That is simply egotism, and it doesn’t work well. Your friends should always be happy to tell you when they’re worried about you. Telling the truth is always a good starting point.

Over time, your self care schedule can turn even the least confident person into someone with Self respect. Often, that’s all you need.

Do you gals relate to these points?

I would love to know!
