Before I start – there is obvs more than three ingredients to this recipe however it’s super easy and there is three main ones to the sauce so you get the title now, k?! 🙊
Also (disclaimer) this isn’t my recipe it’s just something me and my mum like to make a lot in our house, it could have potentially originated from the wise Danielle from the little gym?
Anyway it’s tasty nevertheless and quick (the two main words we all wanna hear in a recipe) so I just wanted to share it with you gals!
- Chicken breasts (amount to suit people)
- 1 chicken stockpot
- 1 chilli stockpot
- 1 red Onion
- 1 red pepper
- Peanut butter
- Soy sauce
- Cashew nuts
- Spring onion
- Cut up your veg and fry off in a little coconut oil
- Dice up your chicken breasts and add to the pan
- Pop your two stock pots in
- Add a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter in and a few drizzles of honey along with soy sauce (just add each to satisfied with taste)
- Make sure it’s all well mixed together and let it simmer for 20 mins
- Add cashew nuts and finish off with some spring onion.
Add your mix on top of noodles or rice or whatever you fancy and there you have a clean easy yummy chicken satay! Will you gals be giving this a go?

The food that you are eating could be contributing to you being unhealthy or overweight. This could be through the type of food that you are eating or the number of calories that you consume each day. You need to make sure that you are not eating over your recommended daily intake each day. If you don’t know what that is, then you should check as it will depend on your gender and height. However, if you want to get fit and healthy, then you need to cut out unhealthy food such as fast food and takeaways. Instead, you want to replace them with healthier alternatives such as fruits and vegetables. You might have a New Year diet plan that you plan to use and that is a good idea as knowing what you should and should not eat is a big part of mastering healthy eating.
Eating less food is not going to make you fit and healthy. You might lose some weight, but you won’t be fit or healthy. In order to reach this state, you need to combine your healthy eating with exercise. You should start small when it comes to exercise and slowly build up to bigger and bigger activities. This way, your body will gradually strengthen, and you are less likely to injure yourself or be put off due to overexertion. Joining and attending a gym can be a good idea because classes can help keep you exercising regularly. However, this can be expensive. Instead, you might want to follow a get fit app or subscribe to a YouTube channel that specializes in getting fit and healthy. This way you can follow their guidance and monitor your progress through the app or videos.
This is key. If you aren’t motivated to get fit and healthy, then you are not going to make it. You need to find that fire, that spark, that makes you want to get fit and healthy and cling on to it throughout the year and beyond. That is what is going to ensure that you keep to your diet plan, keep to your exercise routine and stick with getting fit and healthy. If you find yourself feeling less motivated, then you probably need to make a change and find something more fun or exciting than what you are currently doing. This might mean doing a different exercise routine, eating different meals or something else. Setting yourself a target weight, exercise time or something for you to work towards will help you stay motivated. Tracking your progress with an app or other means will give you constant feedback on how you are doing and be a source of motivation to constantly do better. Without motivation, you won’t succeed in your New Year’s resolution.
