How to Spend Less Time on Your Morning Beauty Regime

If you’ve ever woken up in a panic because you’ve pressed the snooze alarm one time too many and now you don’t have time to complete your morning beauty regime to your satisfaction, then it might be time to make a few changes.

What if I told you that you could sleep in a little longer every morning and still have ample time to primp and preen yourself to your satisfaction? You’d be delighted right? Well, let me tell you that it is possible to always look your best in less time – all you need to do is make a few simple changes…

Plan in Advance

The key to reducing the time spent on your morning regime is thinking about it in advance. Work out what kind of look you want to achieve in the morning and which things are taking up time in the A.M that don’t need to. Then, take steps to eliminate them. For example, if you’re forever battling with facial hair have permanent facial hair removal done or if you have trouble taming an unruly head of hair in the morning, get a more practical cut that is easy to look after and which can be tamed in a matter of minutes. Do this to cut out as many of your morning ‘essentials’ as possible by taking care of them ahead of time, and you’re halfway there already.

Wash with Cold Water

If you wash with cold water instead of hot, not only will it help to really wake you up, but it will firm up your skin, which means you can skip the toning part of your morning Beauty  routine. Trust me, it really works.

Use Dry Shampoo

If you often wake up with hair that’s a little oily and in need of a wash, skip the shower and head straight for the dry shampoo. That way, not only do you not have to wash it, but you don’t have to worry about getting it dry before you get out of the door either.

Use Heated Rollers

Most women don’t use heated rollers much anymore, but if you want your hair to have lots of volume and you want it to be basically ready-to-go when you get up in the morning, using them is a great way to achieve your aims, and they’re cheap!

Invest in a Multiple Use Makeup

If you use separate serums for the face and eye area, you are wasting time, especially when you can buy numerous products like  which will cover the whole of your face and help you to maintain your youthful good looks. In fact, any beauty products you can find that serve more than one function, such as foundation with SPF protection, which eliminates the need for a daily sunscreen application, should be used instead of separates if you really want to save time.

If you implement even half of these ideas, you will shave some serious time off your morning beauty regime, and you know what that means – more sleep!

Lotsa love
