2016; where did it go? πŸ‘€πŸ•°

We more than likely say it every year, but seriously; where did this year go??

I can just remember thanking you gals for reading my blog after the first year like it was yesterday, when In fact next month galsgoss will be two!

Every day week and month has flew past me this year super quick so I wanted to just take time out and share with you what I’ve learnt over the last year.

  1. Leave your comfort zone

One of the biggest changes for me this year was definitely taking a leap of faith and leaving my trusty bakery job in Tesco after 6 years. I was in a rut for the last few years tbh but when I came across the opportunity to apply for a new job I took it and received it quicker than I expected. Take a gulp and go for it; everyone will have their opinion but listen to your heart the odd time…

     2. Keep grudges in the past

Everyone has a person (or 12) they have perhaps had dramas and misunderstandings with but if this year has taught us anything everyone won’t be around forever. So leave the shit in the past be the bigger person and move on. Karma will work in your favour in the long run.

  3. Keep good friends

For me, this one goes without saying and my life is full of them espeically at this age. For anyone younger just remember quality over quantity. You should have a circle of friends dear to you heart, treat them how you want to be treated and remember the effort you put in you should get back.

  4. What’s meant to be…

I’m a firm believer in “everything happens for a reason” this sort of links all of the above. Don’t beat yourself up over things out of your control; people come into your life and leave because they are meant too – people stay around for a long time; because they are meant too. What path your life takes will end up somewhere perfect for you

….. mine is Harry styles and a walk in wardrobe πŸ™„πŸ™Š.

  5. Be yourself

A cheesy cliche I KNOW; but people are so opinated (myself included) I think this is why I take people’s comments on the chin. Everyone will have something to say on what you’re doing but be confident in yourself, if it’s what you wanna do – do it & if you fuck up – admit it!

  6. Wear it

This one is so me but would it be a blog post without a fashion related link? 9 times out of 10 people comment on my outfits and chosen looks like “only you could pull this off” and I am always grateful and loving for these comments but there’s nothing stopping you. If you see something you wanna buy or wear but think “this isn’t really me” take a wee chance and a change (point 1) and just wear it! You will be surprised….

This is just a few little things I try to take with me into every year, what promises and thoughts are you feeling for 2017?

Happy new year everyone, may it bring you love and amazing memories β€πŸ’‹

Speak soon,

Lotsa love
